From the app
Report a profile from the app for anything unsafe. For bugs and ideas, email us.
Report or block someone
- Open their profile.
- Tap Report, choose a reason, and add any details.
- Reporting also blocks them, so they can't see you or message you anymore.
To see or undo blocks, go to Profile → Blocked users. If someone is under 18, is threatening you, or shared your photos without consent, also email us so we can act quickly.
Delete your account
- Open the app and go to your Profile.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your profile disappears right away. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account. Can't get into the app? Email support@hankeapp.com from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you. To leave the waitlist, email us too.
Common questions
How do I join the alpha?
Sign up on the waitlist. We're inviting people city by city, starting on iPhone through Apple's TestFlight app.
Why does Hank-e need my location?
To show you people nearby. Other members never see your exact location. You can turn location off in your phone's settings, but nearby matching won't work.
Why was my photo rejected?
Profile photos are screened automatically, and nudity or explicit images aren't allowed in them. Try a different photo. If you think it was a mistake, email us.
Who can see my kinks?
Other Hank-e members who view your profile. Not search engines, and not anyone outside the app. You can edit or remove them at any time. See our Privacy Policy.
I forgot my password.
Email support@hankeapp.com from the address on your account and we'll send you a reset link. If you signed up with Google, sign in with Google instead.
Staying safe
- Talk first. Chat in the app before moving to another platform or meeting.
- Meet in public first, and get there and back on your own.
- Tell a friend where you're going, who you're meeting, and when to check in.
- Negotiate before you play. Agree on limits and a safeword in advance. Anyone can stop at any time, and that's the end of it.
- Trust your gut. If something feels off, leave. Then report them.
- Never send money to someone you met on Hank-e, whatever the story.
